  2. Funeral and Burial Arrangements • Contact the Cemetery:
    • Call Cemetarz Podgórki Tynieckie at 502 930 185 to make arrangements.
    • Book a burial place for a Muslim funeral. Use the reference “Omar Faris” if necessary. (Omar Faris +48 664 283 407, best to call him ahead )
    • Request a plain wooden box without any religious symbols (e.g., no cross or other signs).
    • Request cemetery the need to perform ghusl (ritual washing of the deceased) at the premise
  3. Transportation • Arrange for Body Transportation.
    • Coordinate with the mortuary to organize a vehicle for transporting the body from the mortuary to the cemetery.
    • If mortuary can’t arrange, please contact cemetery and arrange the transportation.
  4. Islamic Ritual Preparations • Coordinate with an Islamic Center:
    • Contact the local Islamic Center to arrange:
    • Kafan (shroud cloth) for the deceased.
    • Assistance with the ghusl (ritual washing of the body).
  5. Funeral Prayer (Salat al-Janaza) • Offer Salat al-Janaza:
    • Arrange a group of attendees for the funeral prayer (Salat al-Janaza), which is typically performed at the cemetery.
  6. Funeral Cost • Its advised note to use third-party vendors, but use the company available at the cemetery
    • Please refrain from ordering additional items like flowers, pillow, etc (these are not recommended by Islamic ritual)
